    At Chateau de Meillant, we think of children as some of our most important visitors.  We offer different routes in the park, the children’s house, the miniature pavillon, the rental of period costumes, your little ones will not be bored!

    Like a showcase from another era displayed under the trees, the children's house brings together toys from the 19th century that belonged to the family of the current owners, the Mortemarts.

    To discover the interior of the castle with your family, we recommend you opt for the one-hour guided tours, which take place every day at 2.15pm and 3.15pm. 

     

    You can explore the grounds on a number of different routes designed for children: the animal tracks route, the tree route and the riddle route.

    costumed visit

    When you buy your ticket, don the costume of a noble lady or knight and discover the castle as it was in the Middle Ages or the Renaissance. 

     

    Costumes on loan free of charge,

    ID required as a deposit.
