At Chateau de Meillant, we think of children as some of our most important visitors.  We offer different routes in the park, the children’s house, the miniature pavillon, the rental of period costumes, your little ones will not be bored!

By combining the unexpected with the magic of childhood, Aimery de Mortemart, the current owner, and architect Philippe Velu share their passion for history through miniature scenes,

    children's home

Like a showcase from another era displayed under the trees, the children's house brings together toys from the 19th century that belonged to the family of the current owners, the Mortemarts.

    adapted tours

To discover the interior of the castle with your family, we recommend you opt for the one-hour guided tours, which take place every day at 2.15pm and 3.15pm.
